Where are vegans most active?
Metro Manila is where there is most active vegan community. The facebook group Manila Vegans has around 40k members and lots of activities and advice to be found. The group were the first vegan group in Philippines and were the first vegan community to speak out about veganism, organising animal saves, good food sundays in Mandaluyong city, Vegfest Pilipinas (held in Manila and started 2016), animal march every year, anonymous for the voiceless twice a month and more). Modern technology is working better compared to the provinces. Around Metro Manilla the best places to find the highest number of vegan restaurants are Makati and Quezon city. Another great location is Cebu, which is more centrally located.
